Tetozilla

Don't tell him, but this is a birthday gift for my brother-in-law. My sister told me his current obsessions were Teto and Godzilla. I thought about doing a drawing of Teto similar to the Julia drawing but then I thought that'd take too long and was also maybe a little too safe. So I took some time painting godzilla and giving him a wig. I was looking at a lot of official illustrations of Kasane Teto to try and get the hair right. I spent most of my time on that and just experimenting with shading it. It's a little messy but I have a busy month this January so I couldn't spend a ton of time on it. Initially I was going to do a more detailed Godzilla but I thought maybe that'd take a lot of time and I just wasn't feeling it. Maybe another time. I still need to figure out how to render that kind of detail effectively.
